Missing my other half

Sorry. Bad blogger. Bad. I was relishing my last days of Sam's visit. He is now in San Juan. Dominica tomorrow. I have to be honest, I deleted my first posting of this. It was sad. I am sad. However, this post will not be sad! Engagement pictures will be up soon. I've messed something up since I tried to reformat a picture in the blog. Hopefully, I can figure it out. Tomorrow is Relay for Life. It is a cause close to my heart... err I mean neck. This year I will have a year of surivorship behind me. Awesome. Anywho, back to laundry (which I put off the entire time Sam was here- hey, I have a ton of undies so it wasn't gross), trying to get rid of a headache, eat, and off to face a day of work before the Relay all nighter.

Eyelash Hell

I have spent a great part of today(actually Friday, sorry for posting late!) pulling off my false individual eyelashes. They looked fabulous for a couple of days. I envisioned keeping them up- imagine the savings in mascara! Slowly, the glue got on my nerves and I could no longer ignore that sometimes I could see them. I spent about 10 hours trying to get them off. Needless to say, my eyelids are sore and I lost some of my scarce eyelashes. Lesson learned. Today was a good day, despite my eyelash hell. I spent a lot of home time with Sam. He mentioned how wonderful it was- "Some of my best days are when we are at home laying around." Yep. Insta-tears. I am so thankful to have him. I think him leaving this time may be harder. So, I'm leaving to go cuddle.

Numero Uno

EEK! I did it. Why on earth did I do this? Why immortalize everything I type? I have no clue. Actually, I do, but it is top secret for now. I'm just gonna jump on in, like I've done this a thousand times before.... Work wasn't too bad today. I've been off since Sam came home for his break, but it was kinda hard getting back to business. Everyone was excited for me that he was back for a bit. They all wanted to know what we've done- relax, eat, and wedding stuff. Being indecisive really is a disadvantage to wedding planning. Thankfully, we didn't have to make too many decisions- so far. We had our Catholic pre-wedding planning, which was quite interesting. Some of those statements were very disturbing--- My future spouse puts me down.; I am concerned with the way my future spouse spends money.; I am concerned that I will be required to perform sexual acts that make me uncomfortable. Yep. Wow. It made me feel sorry for those who actually had to agree with the statement! So, we go to meet with Father to discuss our results on Monday. I'll let you know how it goes. Hopefully soon I will get our engagement pictures back and I will post the ones I deem worthy here. I hate taking pictures, but I think she got a few good ones in.
